Dead Links
« on: March 08, 2005, 02:46:51 PM »

ok, since the server switch and the forums having all the various issues they had for a few days, my FTP server hosted by prosoundweb is still not working.

i've received a few emails from you guys informing me of dead links

i'm fully aware of this, and i've been told that we can expect things to go back to normal by the end of april.  i realize that's a while to wait, but PSW is in the middle of all sorts of cool things, and one man's FTP server is lower on the list then an entire website's pressing issues.

thanks for emailing me and being helpful with these matters, and thanks for being patient.

Hope they fix the thread-reply/e-mail-notification program while they're at it.

The only way I know if a thread had been replied to is by looking at the thread.

I'm not really that into the Dead.

They can just leave those links as they are...

Sarcasm didn't work on that thread. Reading it in retrospect I didn't make it clear. Sorry. I was working from the side of complaining abotu a dead link.

I guess I should pop in here more often... my bad.

The servers were being consolidated to one server from 14!!!  Needless to say, things are taking a while to all get moved... but they're getting moved in due time.

Pretty much everything was prioritized... as you saw the forum server move was a bit of a bitch... moving the rest of the stuff is happening a day at a time.  When the "recpit" archives are back then you'll know that pretty much everything has been moved... until then we're going to have to muddle through.

As you were...
