I don't have any problems in regards to volume with jazz clients except for one that 85 years old and deaf. I give him some sony headphones and a volume controller for them and turn my monitors all the way down and i can hear everything coming out of his closed eared headphones from 3 feet away. He likes his masters at around -8db rms with lots of high end and bass that makes the headphones breakup. by the way, one side is blown on his headphones and he can't tell the difference.
