Gooseneck Microphone Mounting
« on: February 11, 2005, 10:38:36 PM »

hey peeps,I have my mic on a stand, but everytime i bump into the stand itself, i get a rumble/static concoction. So, i've resorted to using goosenecks. but my questions are, how should i connect my pop filter to my goosenecks and how should i mount it? I purchashed a surface mount flange but it seems like if i screw this into my wall, and connect two goosenecks+Mic+pop filter to ma wall as well, that it'll fall off the wall cause its too heavy...... any suggestions? and my wall is made of that not so sturdy material i cant think of the name right now....peace..
