Hello All,

Recently opened a project studio to facilitate a move from live FoH work and into the studio.

"Indie" (and out of left field music) is where my heart is.

Here's a track I've recently recorded & mixed:

The Traces.

Not incredibly original stuff, but here is a band I just finished working with.   Produced, Engineered and Mixed by me at Viking...

I've been getting a lot of positive feedback from people on this project.  I think it turned out well.

On the off chance that I ever decide I have something worthwhile to add in the way of advice, here's a snippet from a tune I played on (guitars), recorded, and mixed (sort of - it wasn't meant to be a final mix, only a work copy but it ended up as the "final").  It's an older tune from several years ago (OK, late 80s), but it's the most representative track I have available to post at this time.  I also participated in IMP6, so I have a mix posted over on that thread.

Here's Only On a Line (about a minute and a half's worth):

Only On a Line

Here's a link to my IMP6 mix (not sure how long this link will remain valid):

Here you will find four tracks that I have produced. Some were recorded and/or mixed by me and one IS me. I work in traditional music, mostly, but these are on the folkpop side of that range.

Thanks,
Eric

Hey Rick,
that's a nice and easy to navigate page.
If you now change the title of the 'Clients & photos' page
to something different from 'Typical page' it'll be perfect Very Happy

BTW, I like that Jadis Gloom song!

LOL.  Thanks for the heads up Tom! Got it fixed. My site building skills are shaky at best... glad you liked the Jadis Gloom track... she is under development right now... Hoping for big things... awesome tunesmith, voice, and looks great too!

Sorry for the hijack J.

Here's a new one.

MySpace.com/DestroyByDesign

I produced and engineered.

The band completed tracking their record (ten songs total) in five days.
Some of the most fun I've ever had making a record.

I haven't posted much here (been a Gearslut for a while, but just a lurker here). My site has a handy Jukebox, everything in there I recorded and mixed. There's also a 'demo reel' page with some stuff I've done...

i figured i'd put this up here in case anyone's interested.

a new RRoT ep i recorded last summer. this demonstrates my playing more than my recording ability, though i sort of dictate everything anyway. download the entire ep for free.. why not:

analog tracking/mix. recorded in NYC and Chicago. enjoy!
