UA Precision 4110 and 8110
« on: February 07, 2005, 02:42:45 pm »

Has anyone checked these preamps out?  They seem pretty intrigueing and I'd like to know what you guys think.

I want to save up for some nice preamps.

Some other choices of mine are:

Brent Averill BAE preamps (basically APIs that he's built) in the lunchbox rack.

Maybe Vintech 473 model 4ch preamp

I dont want to skimp..  id rather save up and get a badass preamp(s) than to get cheap crap... already did that (presonus bluetube)

API is my favorite......might be worth buying the 10 slot frame and the PSU then you can load it out with mic pre's, EQ, or comps as you can afford them.

neve pre's are another favorite and a really great compliment to the API's.

you should check out the following.

Yeah i've really wanted one of those frames to fill with api's and maybe some neve 1073 or repro's (i.e. vintech) for kick and vocals etc...

api's are supposed to be killer on drums, and i want to find out for myself Smile
