Trident Trimix System- any good?
« on: January 18, 2005, 07:32:11 AM »

Hi, I have been offered a Trimix 18 channels in ok condition for a good price (let's say it's very good). The problem is that I've read some about the Tridents, but theres is not much info on the Trimixes. Are they any good? How do they compare to the A-range stuff? The pre's the eqs? The quality of the mastersection? I have no skills whatsoever when it comes to anything that requieres a soldering iron so if this is a mixer that needs a lot of care and change capasitors and whatnot, I'll pass on it.

My reasons for considering it are that I want some other flavors when it comes to pre's and eq's (I actually have no outboard EQ at the moment and just use the Sony Oxford plug). Besides it looks good (for the clients;-)

Is this worth the hassle?
