OTR, you could also monitor your software L2 as you described, and then after you capture, boot the same setting as a plug-in in the object window for that song. That way it's virtual and you can tweak it at a later time.

Is there any way to lock two instances of Samplitude together virtually with timecode?

Dave -
You are right, I could do that. The reason I don't is because I print the final file all in one pass - after all settings have been tweaked out. I capture at 32-bit float so when the file is printed to the HD, the only thing left to do is apply dither which I do on the Master EDL.

BTW - I don't use the L2, I use the PSP VW...
