The 089 is a really cool console on some levels and a pain in the ass on others - it has a nice usable sound depending on what you are doing - the noise floor is certainly not low - there will be a lot of issues with connectors and they don't really get much better with cleaning - it's mechanical - switches and controls will be a hassle and a lot of them are custom made...  make sure you get all the documentation and hope the console is in really good shape for its age.
