I can't seem to find the best place to discuss problems with DAWs in R/E/P, but I'll give it a shot here:

If I put a mono version of a Waves v4R3 plugin on a Sony Vegas mono track, the signal is boosted by 6 dB as it enters the Waves plugin. If I instead put the stereo version of the same Waves plugin in the track, no boost occurs. Also, no boost occurs with Sony plug-ins.

Both Sony and Waves say they can't reproduce the problem, but *I* can reproduce it using Acid 4.0 on an entirely different computer with a different O/S.

Anyone? Anyone? Buellar?

I'm a Vegas user but I've never seen that one.  Can you work around it?
