Hello,

I recently acquired an older EV Lavalier but was unable to find the exact battery specified in the manual.

The manual specifies an 1.5 volt battery but I was able to get it working with a 1.4 volt battery that is roughly the same size and shape as the one listed in the manual.

The mic passes audio but I haven't tested it too much yet.

Can I expect any problems with this scenario?

Few hours of constant use a 1.5V battery comes down to 1.4V anyhow.  When you have problem then we can talk about it. But if ain't broke don't try to fix it.
