Brian.....i got one a couple of weeks ago. The compression on it is extremely slow. I'm not sure i'd ever use it for the compression. But it you slam it, it fattens things up very nicely. Better then the vari-mu (the Manley's threshold is too low to slam without compression anyway)....It would be amazing to mix into....if you know the second track on the QOTSA album....that's the sound you get when you slam it.
