I posted this in Harvey's forum, but thought this might be a more appropriate place.
I'm thinking about buying one of these mixers used. It's an 8 bus board with 24 mono channels and I think another group of stereo channels. The mixer is sold as is with a bundle of wire and a patchbay. Some of the stereo channels have some hum. I'm just wondering if anyone has an opinion on this mixer. Speck seems to be a good name, but I can't find any information on their older stuff.
It's basically a smaller version of the M72, which I couldn't find information on either. I did find that one M72 sold asis with hum in the master section for $4k or so.
This looks cool to me, but I really don't need something this high end if the repairs are going to be crazy. A soundcraft Ghost would probably be a fine board for me, but if this thing is around $1500 or so, maybe it would be worth it.
