All I can say is: "look who needs the money".

That in itself proves the state of todays music industry.

Woo - woo. Gimme banana.

I think it's nice that Mr. Kershenbaum is running a charity for aspiring producers like myself.

Ee - ee, oo - oo.

Maybe I'll use the $$ to replace my crappy convertors.

Yeah...after (ahem..cough..cough..ahem) administrative costs are deducted, and of course, the costs of the seminar itself (cough).

And once again, the chimps are left with nothing!

Okay, I'll cough up the $10k and go to the seminar, but I'm only doing it for the chimps.

And only after my tongue is removed from my cheek of course. Poor creatures and its a terrible pity, really.  Hate to see something like that on ebay presented in that manner ("Can I be discovered?" etc.). I hope  every penny is actually going to charity.  There is so much corruption in high places its hard to know who to trust these days, and this ebay pitch doesn't exactly engender a lot of confidence.  I'm not saying its not legitimate, just saying one has to be very careful about charities.  Do your due diligence.

I assume he's trying to make sure there are plenty of apes on this planet for the future because you know what can happen when enough of them hammer away in a studio...

...one of them will eventually come up with a brilliant mix!

Awesome!  How much for George Martin???

Maybe they'll have a 2 for 1- Producer/Engineer special!

I'd take the Sir Martin/Geoff Emerick package in a millisecond. Very Happy

Well...wait a minute...aren't the chimps teaching the seminar? I guess I need to go back and read the ad a little more closely.

It is nice to see someone doing some charitible work for animals instead of the usual, "come support my candidate" crap.

Screw hanging with Kershenbaum- tell me where I sign up to get one of the chimps that needs a retirement home.  A well-trained chimp is pretty golden, and I'll bet they're easier to train than your average Full Sail/Berkelee graduate, and they won't play you their crappy mixes of their final projects and judge what you do. I'll take a dozen if it works out well. Can I write off the banana expenses, or do I have to depreciate them, since the chimp's training is a long-term investment that will go down in value as they age and incontinence sets in?  Hmm.  Too bad the auction is closed- how do I get a hold of these people?
