Hurricane Camille wreaked havoc in the same region as Hurricane Ivan is descending upon, with 190 mph sustained winds.    I know of one member on this forum who resides in Ivan's path. Bill Roberts is a good friend of mine, and I am doing some serious praying for him and others in that immediate area. I saw what Charley did to my area, and Francis affected us to a lesser degree. Yes. Best wishes for all who gets hit. Here in Denmark we are having the last hiccups from Frances these days. Strange, that origins from 27+ Celsius water at the center of the Earth, goes thousands of km away from us and later on it comes back here as cold windy/rainy autumn weather.

It is now 2"16PM CST and the wind has picked up, everything is closed, power has blinked off a few times and the 135MPH + winds are on their way. I lived through Camille, and I do not remember the clouds moving so fast. In 3 hours, the winds will be above 80MPH for the next 24 hours.

I am hanging.
