What is the difference between a K47 and a K49 capsule (If any)?
I have a spare K49 capsule (anyway, that is what it says on the box) and I offered this to a person who was desperately searching for a K49 capsule.
But he said that it is no K49 capsule, but a K47. (Apparently he could 'see' this through the membrane, amazing!)
He mentioned that the backplate drilling was 'different'.
The capsule I have here has brass tensioning rings, but according to this person a 'real' K49 should have white tensioning rings.
I doubt this very much, especially because the material of the tensioning rings has changed through the years.
Who can shine more light on this matter?
