Hi!
I need a new capsule for a C37A.
Searching the internet, I found some old comments in forums that Sony would still have this capsule and other parts for sale. I even had some telephone and email contacts, but I got nothing.

Does anyone know if it is still possible to find capsules for the original C37A, New Old Stock?

Hello Luis,
Years ago Sony sent me documentation and schematics of most of their obsolete vintage condenser mics when they closed their microphone service facility in L.A.

To the best of my knowledge, Sony currently has no service representation or parts supply for older or new models in the U.S.
Current production condensers go back to Japan when they need parts or service.

If that situation has changed since I last checked, I request a correction and update to modify this post accordingly.

My last resort is try to find an C38B/C37P for a good price and use the capsule.

John Peluso has a stash of NOS Sony C-3 capsules for C37A mics. Be prepared to pay an eye watering price for them!

for what it's worth, the C38B goes for half (or less) of what a C37P goes for these days...
