Kanye West on Who Invented The Condenser Microphone
« on: December 01, 2022, 02:55:27 PM »

"But this guy (...) invented the very microphone that I use as a musician," West added. "You can’t say out loud that this person never did anything good and I’m done with that, I'm done with the classifications, and every human being has value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler."

There you have it.
West uttered this nonsense on "Infowars" whose host, Alex Jones, was recently convicted to pay $1 billion in a defamation lawsuit. He might have lacked the knowledge to set Mr. Ye straight.

So, for the record:
Hitler did not invent the condenser microphone technology that Kanye West uses in his rap recordings. But Hitler's propaganda henchmen recognized the superior sensitivity and frequency fidelity of the then-new Neumann CMV3 to complement and enhance newly developed Körting, AEG and Siemens ELA loudspeaker arrays, the latter coordinated and integrated by Telefunken, and used them in large Nazi propaganda events.

In a fresh, provocative documentary about Hitler, there is a chapter which goes into some detail how the regime used the new microphone technology to full advantage:
