George is in Sound on Sound's October edition

Yes it's true. There is an article called, "The Engineers who changed recording." Bill Putnam is also in the article, as well as Tom Scholz. Good photo of George, though no gear in the background.

Congratulations!

My expectations, when I started this art and science, was to see to it, the recording arts would continue to establish new plateaus!

Well done George! Keep on 'keeping on' and we shall all do our best to take it all up another honest notch!

To do it...and be recognized is a true honor!

Good move on the picture. I try not to let any gear to be visible, unless I'm really busy at the time. If it's outdoors, much better. Just like chuck on that Millenia ad. I just hate those pictures full of knobs and little lights... like a hiphop video showing off bling and props... compensating for something?

There have been so many enginners shaping the recording techniques that the article itself would have been an entire magazine just listing them. Lots of them on these forums.... I request an standing ovation for all of them.

Cool, I'll have to sneak a peek.  But those import magazines are so
expensive in Canada! Sad

Especially at so young an age!

Go, George...
