Neumann KMS85 - the Brian Wilson mic. Fact or Fiction?

Hello Klaus et al!
Does anyone know the story of the KMS85? Is there any truth to the line that it was designed for Brian Wilson? I have a bunch of these mics and love using them on everything. Mine all have KK84 capsules despite the name of the mic. Much less susceptible to pops and handling noise than my 84's but certainly in the same sound family.
Call me strange but I also like they way they look. They're cool!
