Enhancing a Microtech Gefell UM70 with an MV692

Is there any known modifications/component replacements designed to sweeten the sound of the MV692 p48? The UM70 has such a wonderful capsule, I would think there would be a way to optimize the mic's overall sonic presentation with some well placed component changes in the 692 just as U87's and 67's benefit from tweaks and modifications in their respective preamps. Is there also perhaps an op-amp to FET conversion?
