Regarding the restoration of an original AKG CK12 capsule in Europe, I would recommend to contact Tim Campbell in Aarhus, Denmark.

Cant believe I never responded to the question did it help, yes it did and I had lot of great times with this mic. The 3 different tubes (4 actually) I have are all slightly different.

I now have a hard click when I touch the mic, like there is something slightly loose somewhere. Like the one you get when you switch patterns sometimes.

And the light on the power supply isn't working anymore but thats not a big deal.

Original ELA M950 supplies use a 0.08A/30V incandescent light bulb. You can get something close enough online from major bulb suppliers. Or you can calculate a dropping resistor in series with the bulb you choose that will illuminate the bulb's filament enough to see it through the red lens, but dim enough to last for a long time.

As to the "hard" click you experience: you don't specify the nature of the noise: Is it mechanical in nature (something is physically lose inside) or an electric discharge noise triggered when your body's electrical charge potential touches the housing?

The hard clip is mechanical, but I don't see/hear anything loose inside the mic.

Thanks for the bulb advise!

Usual suspect in original 251s is the capsule mount which consists of a multi-point suspended arrangement of metal frames buffered by felt and rubber pieces. These buffers tend to compress, wear out or disappear altogether.
