Hope everyone around here made-out OK.
We barely avoided house flooding in southern Houston even though we experienced 45"-50" of rain (up to our front porch step - was almost touching the bottom of our mailbox / so approx. 5' of water at street level). Tens of thousands were not so lucky including some of my co-workers. My rental studio downtown also fared OK (2nd floor). My storage facility - not so much...
