I posted this on the MARSH, but they wont touch the thread....

I could get one of these for about 150 bucks. I need to put it in a nice wooden box (or a 19" rack), solder some XLR's, get som cool looking knobs and some resistors and potentiometers.... that'll put me back another 100 bucks or so.

And when I'm at it it would be nice to try to fix some phantom supply and phase reverse in the thing. And maybe 2 VU-meters......

Waddaya think? Is it worth it?

You got to take in consideration that I have no experience whatsoever in this area. I mean, I'm proud of myself for getting an XLR soldered the right way without fucking everything up.
