DAW interface problem
« on: April 14, 2015, 06:18:27 PM »

I am considering purchasing a new computer, new software (Cubase 7), and looking at a Yamaha DM2000VCM digital console. I heard from a couple of friends that these two units have a problem in that the control signals from the DM2000VCM do not work to control the software mixer/automation in Cubase 7. Does anyone know if:

a. This is a genuine problem
b. A work-around if it is.

I appreciate any help I can get on this issue as it will present me with other options should the DM2000 be too problematic when asked to work with Cubase.

Thank you,

Paramadman  :)

No disrespect intended... but have you attempted to contact either company?  If there is a problem they are most likely aware of it... and if there is a "work around" I'm sure they'll be happy to share the solution.
