U-67 stand mount threads
« on: July 17, 2014, 03:53:32 AM »

I have a U-67 that originally came from Radio Finland. The stand mount is the usual one that allows it to hang from a boom. However, the female threads in the mount are different from anything I've ever seen - they look to be something like 1/2"/12-13mm coarse threads. I can't find anything in the way of adapters, or even a reference to threads like this.

Does anyone know exactly what these threads are and if there are any adapters available to standard 3/8" or 5/8" stand threads?

I'm using it now with a Rycote, which is great, but this keeps bugging me.

Thanks,

Myles

No reason to redden the face. Thanks for sharing a source for finding these thread adapters!
