Anyone having success with Brainworx bx_XL V2?

I'm finding it useful for really loud stuff, the m/s factor, the crossover with separate bass, the harmonics factor, etc. Seems pretty able to push things for those loud clients.

hi brad,
i've demo'ed it before.  it was good, but beat by the Flux Pure Limiter and the PSP Xenon in my opinion for most of the stuff we do here at Terra Nova.  i remember favorable thoughts, but not top of the list from the 8 or 10 we shot out at the time.  we also don't get a lot of 'really loud' stuff here...

I get plenty of "make it as loud as possible" clients and have been shooting out BX XL V2 against my other favorites. And while it does have a lot of interesting features, it didn't hold up as well at the same levels on the program material I tested it on. I can't say I like the idea of having harmonics, m/s processing, and a crossover in the final stage of limiting for most projects, but... there is always that one oddball project that needs special help.

My demo's not up yet so I'll continue to see what it's capable of.

It's MD3, as always .. Sometimes the Fab stuff and occasionally Hardware NEVE masterpiece or the Focusrite -Opti. There are so many software ventures that deserve a mention, but .. that way too many:)

Cheers,
