Hey so what I ended up doing was purchasing the Presonus 24.4.2. I'm pretty happy with it from a live board perspective...no more effects racks!
Recording is super simple...literally two mouse clicks and I'm off and recording 24 channels plus the master left and right. The included software does what I need it to do...mix down the tracks with a little effect and some editing.
Is it pro quality recording? I have no idea...but I'm not a pro recording engineer. It suits my needs and more importantly delivers to my customers.
