414B-ULS capsule

AKG, Wien (Vienna), is STILL manufacturing the capsules for the B-ULS's (and also for the EB's, & TL-II's).
Has anyone replaced their capsules recently with these?
Or does anyone have any knowledge or experience with these?
Are they the SAME?
Thanks.

To my knowledge, both Teflon capsules (actually white Nylon® diaphragm surrounds)- the "frequency flat" CK12 Teflon, and the TLII/C12VR capsule (slight upper midrange boost) - are still in production.
If you wish I can get you the part numbers after the holidays.

Thanks Klaus!
I just wanted to make sure that they are the same - the "frequency flat" CK12 Teflon that belongs on my B-ULS's that need replacement.
Do you know if the sound is any different ... or has anything been altered?

If you mean by "the same" that the construction and tonality of the capsule used in the 414B-ULS has not changed over the years: To my knowledge, it has not.
If you mean by "the same" that the sound of the two capsules mentioned is the same: no it is markedly different.

Yes, it was the former:
That the construction and tonality of the capsule used in the 414B-ULS has not changed over the years ...
the one pertaining to the TL-II sounds different because of that boost.
Thank you.

Thanks for the link. Maybe it's worth adding that the predecessor sub-versions of the current B-ULS capsule (part no. 2072-Z-0005) did not differ in their acoustic properties, but in the way, for example, how the lead-out wires were attached, or how certain internal electrical contacts were made.
