Preamp in common for a Sony and Horch?
« on: August 21, 2013, 12:11:04 AM »

I posted this here since Fletcher is a moderator.

If you had to choose a preamp for both a C800g and an RM2j what would it be?

And if you had to choose 2  (1 for each)  which would it be?

Thanks,
Ariel

A Great River ME-1NV would be my first choice... a Phoenix Audio DRS-1 would be my other first choice... and if I were looking for two channels, I'd get one of each.  They are similar in that they're both very clear and detailed, not overly bright or forward [but none the less present]... and the two textures compliment each other surprisingly well -- sorta like chocolate and raspberries.

I hope this is of some assistance.

Peace
