I'm really interested to hear the newer Mytek converters too, but I'm pretty well set up at the moment.  Though, the Antelope stuff has me stirring for a listen...

I received pictures of inside of Mytek 8x192 today. I can see that there are high-quality components and a good power module in it. One thing is not very good is that markingsof OP Amp's that would allow you to define sound character are erased. A friend of mine has compared work of Mytek 8x192 and Lavry Black (AD11/DA11). He told me that 8x192 is much better (more transparent and neutral).
I wonder what about Lavry Blue... I haven't found any pictures of its inside. Maybe somebody of you has any?

I use to have Zodiac  converter and I don't think it worth its money. Moreover, it broke twice for four month

From GS by Jim Williams, not sure if it's old though 2009:

"BTW, glad you like the Mytek sound, it's something I had to do with as I convinced Mihal to use LM6172 100 mhz 3k v slew rate opamps and Wima polyprop film caps. I have a DAC we collaborated on that used the PCM1704 DAC with THS3061 7000v/us slew rate, 300 mhz bandwidth transconductance class A opamps, direct coupled. It was designed for Mark Levinson Labs as a high end playback converter."

The Wima caps are there.

You're lucky Dana is nice.  Klaus would have booted this post in 1 nanosecond.
