Interview with Mike Marsh, mastering engineer at The Exchange
« on: December 29, 2012, 11:07:47 AM »

Just added a new interview to my Oasis website, and thought that some here may find it of interest; Mike Marsh mastered Oasis's album Be Here Now in 1997 and The Masterplan compilation album in 1998, and has based this article on detailed notes he took during the original sessions at the Exchange studio. He has kindly provided lots of detail on his mastering techniques as well as the specifics of his work with Oasis. Many thanks to him for finding the time in his very busy schedule to contribute!

Nice!
I enjoyed the read.

The talk shop was quite a staple mastering engineer speak.
But, a few pointers visible.

Also, no mention of Nilesh Patel (Nils) was disappointing.

Noetheless, thanks for the effort of posting.

Cheers,
