Regarding the potential issues of the newer PVC M7 capsules (soundwise and qualitywise),
do you fellows consider the Gefell M9 capsule more reliable than the M7?
(Reliable as in a good working mic for many, many years)

Between the Gefell M930 and UMT70/MT71 - what mic would you choose
for vocals and guitar?

I cannot find any reference in any of MG's on-line literature or microphone capsule overview pdf (http://www.microtechgefell.de/index.php/en/microphones/product-overview)
about an "M9" capsule.
All references to Mylar/PE capsules on MG websites are either to capsule type "930" or "PE".

Unaffiliated "recording hacks" and other third-party sites use the term "M9" but where they got that from, is not clear to me.

In any case, my previous experiences with MG's PE/Mylar capsules have been a hell of a lot better than their recent PVC M7 material. I had written before- here and elsewhere- that I regard MG's PE/Mylar M7-style capsule as their best currently made product.

Yes, I am referring to the Mylar/Pe vs PVC.
