Hi Tom,

That's a beast you are building.  Very smooth looking!

I'm curious about the guts and how it is wired.  Is this thing just for watching? Also, did you consider using bar graph type displays like NTP or RTW?  How about PPM vs VU?

As soon as I complete it I will post a schematic and pictures of the inside.

I had four VU Meters and decided to use them. They are Sifam Meters http://www.sifammeters.com/ and were "salvaged from an old audio mixer made by Graham Patten

The "guts" are still being determined but are based around a Aphex 124A - Bi-Directional Audio Level Matching Interface http://www.aphex.com/aphex-products/124a-two-channel-level-interface/
