And I've been revisiting all the Tool albums.... Smoke a doob with a good pair of cans on and listen to 10,000 Days.

Paramore - brand new eyes : great prod, great singer, creative drummer... a great album

Dream Theater - black clouds and silver lining : AN EPIC masterpiece!!! the count of tuscany is probably one of the best song in the history!

Dimmu Borgir - abrahadabra - the real syhphonic stuff is great!

Eyes set to kill - The world outside - broken frames

Transatlantic - the whirlwind -> the song "is it really happening" is a must listen for every people who love music.

I really like Deftone's "Diamond Eyes"

It's their best album to me, though my whole life changed with "bored" !

+1 to the newest Deftones... Great sounding, and great songs.. I couldn't listen to anything else for months..

In Case of Fire - Align the Planets - epic sounding album. It's got that "apocalyptic" vibe.

Capricorns - River, Bear your Bones - a friend turned me onto this the other day. Post-metal instrumental stuff. Quite an interesting sounding album too.

Khoma - The Second Wave - dense post-metal from Sweden. Guitars are incredible. Some really interesting sounds on the album too.

Really?
That Black Dub album has been one of the biggest disappointments I've ever come across.
What is it you find so redeeming or cool, if I may ask?

I haven't really come across anything new that's mind blowing.
A handful of tracks off the Little Dragon's latest release or maybe This Heat - John Peels sessions.

The 'Bride Screamed Murder' by the Melvins is quite the epic and of course, 'Stoner Which' is always a blessing and full of tasteful audio luxuries.

There's a ripping two piece from here in SLC,Utah called 'Eagle Twin'.  Their latest record is AWESOME and a really good sounding record to boot!

I agree.  I wanted to love it, but I don't.  "Nomad" is a cool song and probably the only track that really stood out to me, and "This May Be The Last Time" is a great jam, but doesn't feel like a finished song.  Everything else sounds un-finished, dis-jointed, and not very well put together.

The newest Beach House won't get out of my head.  Something about her voice is just bewitching.
