I noticed that a lot of guys are using velodyne DD subs. I listened to the 15" sub with some B&W speakers in a good sounding room.The sub made the full range speakers sound like they were all not just individual pieces,but,made the music fit together as a whole.Do you all utilize any other subs other than these?Any alternatives?

The setting up of two subs has got to be a monster.How difficult is the balancing act with two subwoofers ?

It's very important to find the right placement in the room for them. Once that's done the fine tuning of 2 subs is actually relatively easy. Having 2 evens out the inconsistencies.

Another REL lover here. The older S series subs with the Volt drivers are great. They have only 2 left in their current reference line: Studio and Stentor (both version III). The B's are great too. I haven't heard their other lines, but I'd expect that they're worth a listen.

Agreed!

It's only really to fill the lowest octave. ATCs cover the rest of the spectrum, but just lacked the balls needed for some styles of music.
