SRC (again)
« on: August 23, 2004, 02:36:35 pm »

I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with Secret Rabbit Code or knows of a GUI for it? http://www.mega-nerd.com/SRC/index.html  I'm trying some tests between Cool Edit 2.1, r8brain, and Samplitude 7 going from 96k to 44.1k, but I'd like to try Rabbit too if there's an easy way to do so.  I'm no programmer so I'm useless without a GUI.  Unfortunately budget restricts me from renting outboard SRC, so I gotta make due with what I've got.  If anybody knows of another (hopefully inexpensive) software solution, please let me know.  Many thanks in advance.

Well, sure- I'm always going on about that code.

Use Audacity for that. Open source like Secret Rabbit Code, and free.

2 other inexpensive PC based software solutions that haven't been mentioned yet are:
Awave Audio - http://www.fmjsoft.com/aaframe.html
Sounds Logical ReSample - http://www.soundslogical.com/products/resample/resample_intr o.html
