Doing my best to work it out.

Schedule is a bit messed up with a project that keeps getting moved around.
Work is too quiet just now to miss out on anything.

If I do go I am going to aim to be over for a couple of weeks and do some exploring across the country.

I'll be guiding one of the tech tours at CCRMA on Friday afternoon.  We have a unique 3D sound room (16 speakers and growing) that can be used for Ambisonic playback among other attractions.

The rest of the time I'll be fighting the urge to blow my annual equipment budget in one day.

Looks like the schedule is clear which is good news/bad news.

Will do the sums and see if I can do this.

Confirmed!

Nick, I want to see that Z06 of yours.

Staying close to the Moscone which is handy. Now looking for recommended real beer pub nearby.

I'll be staying at the PickWick hotel, which is only about two blocks from the Moscone center.

Yes, hopefully there is a good pub around.

Ok, arriving on the 4th.

Any recommended seminars, workshops or lectures that I should attend?
I thought about buying a full pass but this trip is already taking an oversized bite from my savings.

I have decided that I shall be exploring the 'Thirsty Bear Brewing Company'. http://www.thirstybear.com/

Anyone else?

Looks good. Is a REP get-together planned somewhere?

OK, what night?

I should be ok for emails and things once I am over. Trying to work out the phone scenario.

First couple of nights I am in the Villa Florence and then the Powell.
It looks like the whole district is very compact and fully featured so there should be no problem accommodating everyones wishes.

Either of 5/6/7 would do for me. Preferably not the 4th on account of unknown booth setup time.
