FS: Pendulum ES-8, DerrEsser pair
« on: September 08, 2010, 04:37:00 PM »

With Brad's permission, a couple items for sale:

- Pendulum ES-8 compressor w/ stepped output gain mod.  The mod removes the passive input attenuators, and replaces the fiddly output controls with switches in 1db steps, up to 11db of output gain (matched resistors on Grayhill switches).  These output switches are located in the front panel holes vacated by the input attenuators.  This unit also has extra venting added to the top panel to make it better suited for face-up mounting in a mastering desk, and a pair of 100Hz filters for the sidechain.  Freshly calibrated and in excellent condition.  $2800 USD + shipping.

- Empirical Labs DerrEsser pair in an Avedis Audio R52 1U rack.  Horizontal screen printing on the DerrEssers.  Excellent condition. $900 USD + shipping.

I'll post some pictures later tonight.  Email me at info@archivemastering.com if interested.

Best,

- J.

DerrEsser pair now on ebay:

Awesome price!  Someone should definitely snag this up - definitely a piece of gear I use every week, and often a lifesaver when it's needed, for both de-essing and warming up overly harsh tracks.

Best regards,
Steve Berson
