In closing- if you defend this concept "glasses adversely affect mix" you are an idiot and lying about being a real recording engineer for a living.

So Joseph, you're a troll now?

No one here ever said that glasses or hats will make or break a mix. But they can affect your decisions, even if only slightly. And considering the amount of thought and effort that goes into that last 1%, I don't think it's ridiculous to consider what impact one's personal effects can have on the process.

Just because YOU can't hear a difference, doesn't mean there isn't one.  It just means you have a tin ear.  But what do I know, I'm a non-professional idiot and a liar.

The whole internet Jedi thing is completely out of control.

.

That's true.  Like those guys on the internet who are trying to tell people that what's been working for them for 30 years can't possibly be right, it must be bullshit.

You're right, I must be a troll.  Oh, and by the way, how many projects have you made large creative contributions to that have earned $659,000,000.00 (as of Sept 1, 2010)?

Joseph, you're acting like an insecure religious zealot.  As far as I'm concerned you're welcome to believe whatever you want.  but don't try to tell me I'm full of shit for living my life based on the experiences that I've had.

Slagging GS and then forum members here is the mark of a true professional, it's time those of us who do audio everyday take note.

And that monitor/hat thing bites hard.

I would respectfully request that at the very least, this thread title be changed.

Better yet, let's delete the whole thing.
