VF14 on ebay

Seems like that it is a never-ending story, currently there is a lot of Telefunken tubes on ebay, with an VF14 of course not mentioned in the auction title just the lot, but none returnable.
I contacted the seller twice, asking polite if he could check the DC resistance of the tube, and of course no response.
The box looks very similar to the fake VF14s that showed up on Ebay about a year ago, not saying that it is a fake, just to be aware that if someone bids, it might be a UF14 relabeled as a VF14.

If it's a tube that cannot be readily used in a U47, unless heavily modified, with questionable sonics to boot, and no other application far and wide, is a bargain at that price?

I was referring to the usual "buy-it-now" prices of the EF14s that were included in the sale, and the other tubes.

A result of the initial post's deficiency and my not so polite response: No verbal description of the auction, just a link, was included in the post. So I had no idea what extactly might have been in that auction, unless surfing over to eBay.

As I have asked many times before: Please DO NOT JUST paste an auction link, but paste the relevant portions from the description, because eBay deletes links to expired auctions quickly!
