Another option to consider is I bet Tim at Buzz would consider a 4 channel custom version of the REQ 2.2.  I don't know what this would run but I'm taking a guess that it would be less than $13k.

Best regards,
Steve Berson

We have other Sontecs (as Brian mentions earlier in the thread also) along with GML and Avalon Mastering EQ's.

You sure you don't want to part with the 462? pretty please with sugar on top?

The one being sold is an "extra" so to speak so, rather than it getting dusty, we are deciding to sell it to upgrade ... wait for it... some more toys.

So now that the spare Sontec has sold.. can you reveal the new toys you've ordered?

FWIW - the DRC-202's in the picture are likely headed to Chris to get the once over. Not currently working but can't wait to hear them.

I think you'll be disappointed based on other users experiences with the DRC-202's. Probably why the EQ's are famous but the compressors aren't. Rick O'Neil could probably add something to this.

haha, the 462 is staying put!

We're putting Lavry Blues in 2 of our rooms(A/D D/A D/A), our Apogees, as well as being a bit long in the tooth, do not play well with the Crookwoods.

Yeah, we have heard the DRCs are a bit odd. Someone inquiring about the MES-430 had one and we talked a bit about them. Sounds like the calibration is a pain as well.
