K&H O 300 monitors, D or Not?

I'm demoing a K&H O 300 monitors. They are analog version only. I like them! They translate great, whatever I mix on them!  I'm using Dynaudio BM15A for years now... Liked them too, but one of them went south, ..
My question is: is there any sonic difference between Digital input model and analog?  I see on their web in the description, the digital input ones have a transformer balanced analog input, while analog only, electronically balanced. Has anybody heard them side by side?

Hope this is the right place to ask this question...
