Can the HEDD drive 600 ohm loads?
« on: April 02, 2010, 07:00:45 AM »

I quickly experimented with something yesterday, half an hour of time and then I had to leave for a few days. But I felt that a 600 ohm load was on the edge for the HEDD - not obviously distorted but kinda slow and less punchy, if you allow me to use the gimmick word.

The specs don't say anything about the output's capability - does anyone have an idea?

I think it uses OP-275's, which can drive 600R, but I don't remember how happily.
