Judging from the size of the inductor, that is hopefully a 1.5 millihenry inductor. A henry is a very large amount of inductance, far more than is typically used in an audio circuit. If you pull a good inductor out of the circuit, you could measure it and determine the value with a LCR bridge or multimeter with a LCR function.
Are you certain that the inductor has failed? Usually they are not the problem in an audio circuit; I've seen many more transistors, diodes and capacitors go than inductors. It might be worth it to re-solder the inductor back in and see if it is a cold solder joint under the inductor.
If you are looking for electronic parts, both
http://www.digikey.com/ and
http://www.mouser.com/are good to know about and should have some lines of inductors which can electronically replace your part (physical fit may be an issue).
Harvey was involved with Acoustic in the 1970s and might have some additional information on this.
