Just five minutes down the road from my place.

Living in Hayes makes me very aware of how far EMI has fallen, they were huge and involved in so much interesting stuff... EMI Music is the last bit that's left (not based here though), and for how long?

Nice that there's still one bit hanging on, even if they've long parted from the tree.

well, I don't like the fact that they are trying to explain vinyl sales as a physical touch-feel phenomenon.

Vinyl is good because of it's capacity to sound good under the right circumstances, and being analog it's resolution is in function of the care taken to do it right and the reproducing equipment at home.  It sounds more like live music.

but I'm glad they are doing well.
