I would like to see more articles like this one and less like the ones that are on the WWW...

I am a bit confused.

Do you mean "I would like to see articles more like this one, and less like the ones that are on the WWW..."

Or do you mean "I would like to see more articles like this one, and fewer like the ones that are on the WWW..." ?

Yeah seems as GS has fallen to ITB newbie anarchy.

The inmates have taken over the asylum (well almost).

Props to Brad for keeping a tight rein on this forum.

"There is just no musical reason to throw away so much of the sound so the listener can keep her volume knob at 3 instead of 5."

I'm getting that put on a plaque.

Oh no offense to Jay actually, he's tried to control it,

but once the lid is off of a can of worms, or a barrell of monkeys...

When choosing between "less" and "fewer," always start with "fewer."

If it works, that's it.

If it does not work, THEN use "less."

I assume you mean you want a smaller number of the "bad" articles, rather than the same number but without as much "bad" in them.

Sorry...just a little pet peeve...

Isn't it "less" if you're describing the contents of a single object, and "fewer" if you're describing the objects themselves?
That's how I remember it.
