I'm usually pretty cynical about the stuff out there in the pop world, but I was impressed by the sounds on a 3 Doors Down album my kids brought home recently. Nice drum sounds ( esp the snare on "Away from the Sun", fat crunchy guitars, decent songs. Anyone know anything about how they tracked the album? I suspect there may have been some analog involved, but .....
