Sorry, just making light of the situation that's been beat in the ground.  For all I know you could very well be correct.

It's hard to be unpredictable and funny at the same time. Something I probably have no business trying...

no need to apologize, I took it with full humor!
for my 2 cents, micro dynamics is the dynamic control good musicians use on each note, attack decay sustain release ... when "smashed" these subtle nuances are lost.

Here's how you handle "micro dynamics"

I would suggest that the term 'dynamics' be defined first and the scale (micro/macro) after.

I take 'dynamics' to refer to loudness. Since loudness is integrated over time (the limits of which are relatively well established), we might define micro dynamics as 'short-term integration of loudness' and macro dynamics as 'long-term integration of loudness', both of which are relatively well defined and commonly accepted psychoacoustic terms.

I'll be presenting a paper on the subject at the upcoming London AES convention in May.

Loudness is the wrong nomenclature ! it is just one side of dynamics. the other end is taciturnity/quiet/silence.

Dynamic range vs performance intensity, with respect to a reference dynamic level...
