Gotham does not appear to make starquad SNAKE cable, which was what I digging into.  Mogami makes an excellent starquad mic cable, but does not make a mutipair version of it. Canare makes both single and multipair quad.

Thought of just using a Y cable split?

Unless youre going into 600ohm xformers on both the desk and your recording rig, you shouldnt have probs.  In fact loading the mics down a little might even improve the sound.

2 reasons not to Y split:

Phantom
Ground

If you don't want the house mixer to screw your recording, an isolated split is the only way to go.  Take the direct lines to your preamps, and give the house the isolated feeds.  

And take an unterruptible power supply with you!
