Control Room Analysis
« on: December 11, 2009, 07:16:54 PM »

I wonder which SW I could use for testing my monitor system into my CR. Many years ago I remember a friend of mine who used an HW tool called Tekron (or something like that) that was able to plot a 3D graphic (freq, lev, RT). I guess that today this thing can be done by using a PC/Mac SW with a properly mic for tracking the curve.
I did a search on the web but I'm really confused about what could be the best solution w/o spending too much. I've taken a look at the B&K site but there are lots of products and I don't know which one could be the right way to go.
Thank you

You could start with Room EQ Wizard, which should be enough for most of the things you have to do in CR analyzing.
A great piece of software (which happens to be also freeware) written and very well documented by John Mulcahy.

Thank you for the input. I'll try it.
